Giving Back

This work is our passion and we are committed to helping others succeed. In addition to our expert services, Bright Futures continues to stand out for our strong commitment to our community. We offer free workshops and seminars, participate in volunteer mentoring, and are partnered with several nonprofits. We give back to foster equal opportunity for all to have access to higher education.

Non-Profit Partnerships

Breakthrough Houston

Breakthrough Houston provides low-income and low-resourced students enriching education to prepare them to enter into competitive high-school programs and for entry into college. Dr. Dennard and Elana Guerra help these high-achieving students by creating and hosting the yearly “Breakthrough Houston Essay Workshop.” Here students work on their college admissions essays under the guidance of Dr. Dennard and her colleagues.

CollegeCommunityCareer

CollegeCommunityCareer (CCC) is a newer partnership and Bright Futures is excited to provide the “gift of self-awareness” to low-income, first-generation students in several school districts on the north and west sides of Houston. Bright Futures empowers these hard-working students with complementary Birkman Reports.
