Bright Futures Consulting Announces the Addition of Two New Associates to Expand Services to Clients

Bright Futures Consulting is proud to announce the addition of two new associates to help provide additional services to families. In addition to existing services, the firm will now offer services that provide financial guidance for families to plan and prepare for college expenses and additional specialized support to high school athletes pursuing college recruitment.


Dr. Al Varisco
is a twenty-nine year veteran of education. He is a graduate of UCLA (BA), Pepperdine University (MA), the University of Houston (Ph.D.), and holds a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from Chapman University.

Al currently serves as principal of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic School in Houston and holds adjunct positions at the University of Houston and the University of St. Thomas. He has extensive experience in helping students matriculate to colleges across the country and he has worked with numerous athletes in assuring their progress with NCAA Eligibility Center issues and recruitment.

Al is married to Christine Varisco and has three daughters, two of whom are currently in college.

 


Mr. Raymond VanBuskirk
is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley with a BA in Economics and MBA in Accounting and Finance, as well as a Masters in Theology from Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis.

Raymond served as Director of Grants and Contracts Service for the U.S. Department of Education and a senior financial executive for Fortune 500 companies handling all aspects of financial planning, accounting, and treasury operations. He also serves as a pastor and adjunct business and public policy professor.

He and his wife have three children, one recent college graduate, and two in college. Raymond has extensive experience in financial planning for college and coordinating plans that fit the overall financial plans of families.
